Our Story
Northern Lights Mansion is located in Central Harlem and opens its doors for your engagement, wedding, honeymoon, anniversary, family reunion or sightseeing tour at our luxury Bed & Breakfast experience. The house was built in 1880 with turn of the century architecture, newly renovated with waterfall jacuzzies, and a state-of-the-art kitchen. Treat yourself to the finest accommodations while enjoying what New York City has to offer, including world-class Broadway shows, museums, concerts, operas, scenic strolls through Central Park and so much more.
Luxury Suites with Modern Amenities
We offer 2 Executive & Honeymoon suites with private Jacuzzies. One Queen Suite with a private Infra-Red Cedar Suana. There are 3 standard additional units with luxury showers. A total of 6 suites and 6.5 luxurious baths are found throughout the mansion. Enjoy seven restored fireplace mantels, magnificent mahogany woodwork and stained-glass windows in our Northern Lights living room. Cook meals in our restaurant-grade kitchen. Private chef, photographer and florist are all available upon request.

Surrounding the Historic Harlem Area
Located within walking distance from the mansion are many world-class dining experiences and delicious treats. Just steps away from the Apollo Theatre, historic landmarks and trendy shopping centers, as well as jazz clubs and bar lounges you won't want to miss!
Our brownstone is within 3 short blocks walk to major subways: A, B, C, D and 2, 3 which express to midtown and downtown. (About 15 Minutes or 2 major stops to Times Square, 3 Stops near Hudson Yard or 5 stops to Rockerfeller Plaza or just 25 minutes ride to/from Wall Street). In addition, M1, M2 and M3 bus lines running along Fifth Avenue through Museum Mile, passing the Metropolitan Museum, Guggenheim Museum, MOMA, the Plaza Hotel, Trump Tower, and the Empire State Building.
Transportation is even more convenient with the West bus lines M7 and M10 running along Central Park West and Columbus Avenue, passing by the Museum of Natural History, Lincoln Center, all the way to Times Square and Midtown.
